Enlightenment on Romantic Relationships

This is a topic that I have yet to discuss and it is long overdue...

Many of us approach romantic relationships with the intention of "finding the one" rather than allowing ourselves to recognize our significant other when they come into our lives. Let's think for just a moment about friendships: How many times do you think you've missed out on making a valuable, long-lasting friendship simply because you were unaware? Probably more than you think. And it is most likely the same for romantic relationships. 

Now, another factor to consider is the idea that society puts unrealistic expectations for relationships into our minds. They portray relationships as being "unicorns and rainbows." Which, maybe for the first 6 months to a year, that is how it feels. But after reality sets in, that is simply not the truth. Each relationship will have its challenges. You have your own and so does your partner. Together you bring a dynamic to the table that no two other people will. And that is okay. This is all perfectly normal. In many cases when challenges present themselves, we (the collective) try to impose our logic upon situations to "solve the problem" when in actuality, how is that you can "solve" an irrational force with rational thinking? You simply can't. It's like trying to put gas in a car that is solar powered. Different systems take different solutions.

Love is about being. Love is about surrendering your ego for the greater good of your relationship. And when issues arise in your love life, you can take as much action as you want, but in the end you usually end up just having to ride out wave and be with it.

Empaths and Energetic Vampires

If you've been feeling particularly bogged down or exhausted lately, you may consider the idea that you are an empath. An empath is someone who is sensitive to the energies of other people, in many cases absorbing their energy and believing it is their own. You are usually considered a wonderful friend because you genuinely can feel the emotions of others and usually are able to be very intimate with others regarding their feelings. Being an empath could mean for you that you should be in a healing profession or that you may just be a natural healer. Be wary of energetic vampires. These are people who may, consciously or unconsciously, need to stuck the energy from you to feel sustained. They will take advantage of the fact that you are an empath. You know someone is an energetic vampire when, they leave your home or office and you feel drained, agitated, fearful or any other negative emotion. With awareness of this, you will soon come to the realization that there are notable people in your life that produce this effect upon you. You may wish to practice shielding, an energetic technique to prevent anyone from taking your energy away from you. To do this, close your eyes or just visualize a bright white or violet light beginning in your heart. Allow the light to grow, expanding across your chest, up into your mind, down your arms and down into the rest of your being. The light will now be circumscribing your entire body, enveloping you in a wonderful, protective energy.

Embracing the Shift

Oh I am totally opening up to the tranformational shift that is happening right now. The Sun went direct, highlighting our relationships. Purifying them and expressing their truth. I am thoroughly enjoying it. It feels so cleansing and rejuvenating. Much like rain in a desert. Some of the things popping up are uncomfortable but just being with them is healing. Growth doesn't come from resistance, it comes from embracing change. Ahh. Feeling so refreshed right now. May the Universe and its highest vibrations be with you.

A word to the wise

This happens more often than not...

It is ignorant to ever think you are too good for something or that you are above something or someone because you have all ready received information on a particular subject before. If that didn't make sense, read it again. Each time you are presented with information you feel you are "well-versed" in, take that as a sign you have not mastered anything yet. In all actuality, this life isn't about mastering, it is about experiencing, so you won't really master anything. Take in information and digest it, make something of it, but don't brush it off with your nose snubbed up as if you think you know everything because you don't.

Part I of Being a Lightworker

Goodmorning everyone! It's beautiful and sunny here in Las Vegas!Now, part of being a lightworker is BEING a lightworker; being light.  I have been on an all raw, all vegan diet. Now, imagine what that means for a moment. This includes only fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables are made from light. So essentially, I AM light, if the saying "You are what you eat" is correct. I feel lighter and brighter physically, mentally and spiritually. It really does wonders for the body and soul. If you haven't all ready tried this, I suggest trying it.

July SuperMoon Forecast!

Here is my take on what is happening in the cosmos: 

This is the third SuperMoon in a row! And, it is in Aquarius! The Sun enters in Leo providing us that performer, star-shining energy. This is the time to allow your creative energies to flow. Aquarius is your dreamer, hopes and desires. Saturn went direct and it is uncovering your limitations. It is balancing your giving and receiving. Embrace this flow of energy. The stars are aligned and t0gether this is the time to vigilantly pursue your dreams and aspirations. If you are feeling anxious about it, that is an indication that you need to get outside your comfort zone. Embrace your natural state. Embrace being receptive to love. Let creative expression flow and flourish. We are in the Age of Aquarius; the age of Enlightenment. You are light. You are love.

Full Moon July 22

I am beyond ecstatic! This coming Monday evening, July 22nd marks the Full Moon. Not only is the moon in Aquarius, but the sun is in Leo. This is my time. So much love to all of you.

Lemurian Quartz Crystal

Ah! I am so in love with love. Not just romantic love. Yes that too. But so in love with loving the world. 

In recent days I've begun working with my quartz crystal. That is the best thing I ever did for myself. The amount of truth that this Earth holds is astonishing. I took a second look at it and noticed its horizontal striations which are very characteristic of Lemurian crystals. Did a bit of research and came to find out that these crystals were planted for starseeds and lightworkers such as myself! They are known for their aid in dreamwork, intuitive clarity, channeling of higher beings, chakra alignment and universal oneness. It has helped me achieve just that.

These past few weeks have been so influential. I have a deeper connection with myself and nature. This life is always so pleasantly surprising. Always providing just a little bit more when it knows you need it the most.

This message is for you:

I am always here for you. There is no one else that can help you like I do. Follow your intuition and I am there with you. 

I am you. 

You are beautiful, perfect and whole. Allow yourself to access the higher realms through you. You have all the answers that you could possibly need. When you are feeling down or confused, take a moment to step outside for a breath of fresh air. Reconnect with yourself. Reconnect with nature. Take a moment to gaze at the sky in all its wonder. Take a moment to recognize that tree looking at you, wanting your attention, noticing y o u needing i t. Take a moment to listen to the chirping of a bird. Listen to its song, its cadence. Take a moment to notice it singing to y o u. Just like I am singing to you now. Everything around you has a song, a message. Everything has a purpose. You have a purpose.

It's Raining

The smell of raw, wet Earth. The feel of this soft rain. It's a beautiful and mystical morning here in Las Vegas. I can feel the energy seeping in from the clouds; bringing change, building our potential, rebirth and purification. This storm is the bridge between the Cosmos and our Earth. Symbolically, the bridge between our higher selves and the grounded version of us. Thanking the Universe for this needed cleanse. Feeling these vibrations. Mmm.

We're in the Shift, NOW

So much is happening right now in the cosmos. First, Mercury is in retrograde. Communication may be misunderstood/misconstrued/delayed/absent because of this. Don't be too surprised if you're feeling a little out of touch with things. PLUS so much creative energy is flowing through the Universe. The time is now to drop away from the mundane, from the things that no longer serve us, inspire us or grow us. Money driven, power or control driven, security driven, "normal" driven forces no longer matter. What really matters is your connection with yourself and the Universe. Your conscious decision to move towards ascension and not away from it. July is here and it is so exciting! Make the most of it.

Things are changing

This weekend was such an adventure. The drive up the coast was so magical and beautiful, bringing new energy to my life. I was in for a real surprise and treat when I visited an astrologer. He gave me an unplanned, complimentary reading based upon one of those impromptu, intuitive moments. WOW. He reminded me of ME, gave me so much insight, inspiration, affirmation and knowledge. The biggest thing that hit me was my love of the cosmos and how connected I feel to it. I am now considering a career in astrology alongside my career in psychology and I really couldn't be happier. I'm in one of those star-struck moments.Things are aligning and coming together for me. Wow. SO in love and so happy. This just proves that good things happen when you follow your truth wholeheartedly.
