What Happens When the Money Paradigm Falls?

Here is a thought that kept coming to me during the last few weeks over and over again, "What happens when the money paradigm falls?" I knew my guides were talking to me. But, I really didn't have an answer for them and kept brushing it off. At some point, I would have to come to a screeching halt and I did. Finally, I stopped and asked myself, "Vanessa, what happens when the money paradigm falls?" My first response was, "Well, I have no idea." But as I allowed the question to permeate my body, my entire consciousness answered for me. The answer that came through me was, "Well, money wouldn't matter anymore." Shit, money wouldn't matter. This led me to thinking about how many of us are intrinsically motivated by money alone because having money in the bank and a big paycheck is how our society deems us successful. It is how society places value upon us. But, what would happen if money didn't exist? And, what is money anyway?

Money is energy. It is a means for exchange. We have all collectively decided to put a value upon a paper dollar or a metal coin. It is a means for creating value. What would happen to your work if money were no longer involved? What are you working for or rather, what are you working towards? Many careers are built upon "getting a raise" or "being promoted." What does that mean to you and does it hold any value for you? What if abundance meant being able to come home and spend time in your garden while you listened to your children playing in the sprinklers? Or maybe abundance means opening that bakery you've always wanted because your grandma taught you all the secret family recipes and you loved the time you spend with her? What I am asking you to do here is really take a look inside yourself and ask yourself, "What do I value?"

This is not a post predicting the future. This is not a post telling you if or when the money paradigm will fall. It is a post to allow you to open yourself up to your inner being. What do you truly want from life? What do you want to learn? What feels good to you?

And I want you to do just that. I want you to do what feels good to you because following your bliss is what matters, I promise you. When we are in alignment with our true selves, we are in our bliss. And, I guarantee that as you are in your bliss you will be serving a divine purpose and that purpose will serve you. But the moment you are intrinsically motivated by money alone, you are losing the essence of you. Why limit yourself to a number? The concept of infinity was created for a divine reason. Allow yourself to access your infinite being. Be in your bliss and allow it to serve you with integrity.

  1. It is so crazy that you have posted this because to be honest, I have put a lot of thought into this recently and it really makes me question the job I work. I go from job to job and never really get anywhere with it. It is just money and I always feel stuck. I'm unhappy when I'm not working and also unhappy when I am working. How do you possibly find something that doesn't make you feel like you are in a rut?

  2. I think the most important thing to ask yourself with any decision you are making in life is, "Is this in alignment with my highest self, with who I am?" At times we may have countless opportunities that are thrown our way. Sometimes they are "well-paying" but have unreasonable expectations for your personal lifestyle. And sometimes it is the opposite. Finding something that doesn't make you feel like you are in a rut will look like a variety of different things to different people. But for you, it will look like what is in your highest alignment. Take out a pen and paper and write down the answers to these questions. What makes me feel exhilarated? What times in my life did I feel the most alive? What makes me feel alive now? Write down qualities, specific details or moments and write until you feel you have said all that you need to say. I think this will bring some clarity and help you to see on paper what direction to move in. :) <3

    1. thanks I will do that today and hopefully that creates some clarity. I just know as long as I am working for someone else I won't be happy. I'm too independent.
